Effective Classy Websites

Adding a link to another website or URL is easy in WordPress 2.6.

The steps are as follows:

1. Log-in to your WordPress site
2. Click on the WRITE > LINK tab.
3. Navigate to the URL you want to link to in a new tab in Firefox.
4. Copy the URL (Command+V on a Mac and ALT+V on Windows)
5. Paste the URL into the Web Address field.
6. Enter a Title and a Description in the Name and Description fields.
7. Choose or create a category for the link in the Categories section.
8. Click Save!

Now this will show up on your links page or on your sidebar of you have a links widget there.
