Search Engine Optimization Plugins
Google (XML) Sitemaps
This generator will create a sitemaps.org compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported By Google, MSN Search and YAHOO. Gives the search engines a file of what is on your site. Updates dynamically.
Google Analytics
Enable Google Analytics on your blog. Has options to also track external links, mailto links and links to downloads on your own site. Gives you very detailed information about your visitors and their stats.
Meta-Tag Plugin
Plugin for inserting the META tags ‘keywords’ and ‘description’ into your posts and pages.
Search Meter
Keeps track of what your visitors are searching for. After you have activated this plugin, you can check the Search Meter Statistics page to see what your visitors are searching for on your blog.
SEO Title Tag
Search engine optimize your blog’s title tags. Create a customized title tag for any post, static page, category page. Admin allows for mass editing of title tags. This is the most important seo mechanism behind link building. To find out what search terms are being used a lot, try out the Yahoo Keyword Selector tool. Can be very interesting!
Sitemap Generator
