Apples iPhoto is a fantastic little program that makes managing your photos, making slide shows and sharing images a real joy. This short screen cast will show you how to optimize your images for the web with this app.
Here are the steps in point form:
- Create a album and/or select only the photos that you want to optimize. (hold down the Command key to select and de-select the images you want, or choose EDIT > SELECT ALL if you have them all in one album)
- Choose FILE > EXPORT.
- Keep the selection on File Export, then choose Kind: JPEG, JPEG Quality: Medium, Size: Medium (or to your choosing)
- Export and Tell your mac where to put the images.
Done! Now you can upload to your Wordpress site or MySpace or wherever.
